IMPORTANT MORGAN ANNOUNCEMENTS
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2014
To all INTERACT Club members: The Downtown Halloween event still needs your help from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Halloween night. You would need to wear your costume to join in the fun of bagging and passing out candy, decorating, and helping with the canned foods. If you’re not going trick-or-treating yourself, why not show up and help make it a fun, safe night for little goblins. Talk with Ms. Gonzalez or Ms. Hammond to get the address.
If you would like to take the wheelchair driver’s license test and get qualified to help our “other-abled” students, stop by the Library and pick up the form from Mr. Doughty.
Tomorrow is Halloween. You are allowed to dress up, but you are not allowed to wear a mask or bring anything to school that resembles a weapon. Make sure your costumes are school appropriate.
PERSONAL LOGIN AREA
The Personal Login area on the left side of this page is for teacher access only. It is not the access to check student grades. To check your child's grades, click the "Family Access to Check Grades" link in the upper left hand corner of this page.
The INTERACT Club is having our first school wide community service project. From now until Friday, October 31, we are collecting as many non-perishable foods as possible to be given to our two local food banks, APOYO and FISH.
The types of food needed include: Jars of peanut butter, boxed macaroni and cheese, tuna, rice, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, canned soups, and all kinds of beans. If you are able, please send some canned or dry goods with your child but remember that Halloween day is the cut-off for bringing foods to MMS.
A party will be awarded to the top homeroom class from each grade level---6th, 7th, and 8th. Fun times!
ACCESSING GRADES ON-LINE
Did you know you can access your child's grades 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Just click the "Family Access to Check Grades" link in the upper left hand corner of this page, and you can!
If you need your login information for 6/7 students, please contact Sue Foy at 925-8200 and she can get you set-up.
If you need your login information for 8th grade students, please contact Laurie Sloan at 925-8366 and she can get you set up.
