SEXTING
Parents:  Are you aware that you can contact your cellular phone company and ask that the sending/receiving of pictures be blocked from your child's cell phone?  With the prevalence of "sexting" (Sending sexually explicit photos through text messages) both globally and locally, this might be worth your time.  Students around the country are being charged as sex offenders for having sexually explicit pictures of underage people on their phones.  We would hate for our children to have a sex offender record follow them for the rest of their lives, and we want to make every attempt to make sure that pictures of our students in compromising positions don't end up in cyberspace.  If you have concerns about your child being involved in these activities, please contact the school for assistance.
Homework Help is Available!
Students can get help in completing their homework assignments, retake tests/quizzes, or finish missing/late assignments either before or after school. Homework help is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 – 8:30 AM in the cafeteria and Monday through Thursday after school from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the Library. (Homework help is not available on early release Mondays.)
